Hchiehart is founded by Hwee Chieh, an independent artist, illustrator and designer based in Singapore. Her works take inspiration from a vast array of styles and subject matter, with a strong interest in the delicate qualities of Chinese, Japanese art and botanical watercolour paintings. Hchiehart is an artists’s endeavour to bring a fresh perspective on nature’s beauty, the value of art given by our society and emotions through a series of gentle and poignant art.

Hwee Chieh graduated from Nanyang Technological University, Art Design Media (ADM) with a major in Visual Communication and minor in Art History. Before becoming a freelance creative in 2022, she worked in the Multimedia and FinTech industry as a Multimedia Designer and Design Engineer.

If she’s not creating something, you will probably find her reading, singing, spending time in nature or working with her teammates at Green Nudge to spread awareness for sustainable living among local communities.
